Bachelor's degree students who are interested in genetics and genomics can earn a minor in genetics.

Students should declare an intent to earn a genetics minor as early as possible, but no later than the end of the junior year, by contacting Professor Estelle Hrabak at (603) 862-0716 or estelle.hrabak@unh.edu in Rudman Hall, Room 105.

Students will be assigned a minor adviser who should be consulted with questions about courses and minor requirements.

MINOR REQUIREMENTS

• Complete 20 credits from the courses listed below, with a grade of C- or better.
• No more than 8 credits used to satisfy major requirements may be used for the minor.
• Select at least two courses from each category below.
• Four credits of GEN 795 Investigations may be counted as one course toward fulfillment of the minor.
• Pass/fail courses may not be used for the minor.
• During the final semester, students should file the Certification of Completion of Minor (PDF) form in order to have the minor shown on the academic record.
